Where do we play?
We prefer playing near Noordeinde Palace. But we also prefer staying dry and avoiding hypothermia!
Therefore, the location depends on the weather. Is it raining or cold? Then we play inside Amare.

PLAYING CHESS TOGETHER IN THE CITY
Every Saturday during outdoor chess, we make our tables and boards available to the public. Everyone is welcome: from complete beginners to experienced chess players. This regularly brings together a vibrant mix of nationalities, ages, and backgrounds. There is only one rule: respect each other!
By tradition, games are often played with a time control of 3 minutes per player plus 2 seconds increment per move. However, you are completely free to use a different time control—or none at all.
