On Saturday, October 10, the annual outdoor chess event took place at Amare, a fresh and rainy venue ideal for an autumn/winter game.
With tables and chairs already provided, the organizers could focus on the matches, and even the dog didn’t mind.
In the evening the Weekly Blitz was held. Eric won with 8 out of 9 points, Raymond and Quinten shared second place with 7.5 points, and Nadeem finished fourth with 7 points, being the only player to beat Eric.
Despite the drizzly weather, the atmosphere stayed lively and the day was considered a success.
